    timex dynabeat question

Does the Timex dynabeat movement tick like a regular quartz, or like a mechanical?

No. It is pretty loud and sounds like a fast heartbeat. But more like a mechanical on steroids.

    Re: timex dynabeat question

    Hi there,

the Dynabeat has a normal electromechanically controlled balance motor with 28800 bph
bidfun-db Archive: Watch Movements: Timex M253
So it ticks with the same frequency like many modern mechanical movements.
