    Today's finds....14k Accutron & Eberhard

    Hello all,
just thought I would post today's finds. First, a solid 14k case M6 Bulova Accutron. Having a time to keep it running, went and had a battery installed, ran stron for an hour and a half, now it starts and stops as it pleases. Any ideas? Secondly, a Eberhard chronometer movement. Haven't messed around with it yet, would love to find a case for it. So, if anyone knows where I could get one, please let me know. As always, your input is always appreciated...and FYI, the Accutron makes the humming sound, even though the second hand doesn't move.

Looks a pretty early Eberhard movement - chronometer standard
Very nice. Not sure how one goes about getting a case?

Finding cases for orphan movements is not trivial. Dimensional variations are substantial... it is more than just diameter.

    Ref the Bulova.
Second sweep is connected directly to the pinion thats driven by tuning fork.
With it still humming I would guess it needs servicing and at least the pinion wheel replacing.
Being a 14k case it would be worth repairing.
