    Totally Swiss made Gruen p.w.

The thinnest production Gruen in pentagon case ~1927, but feels like solid piece of heavy gold.. The unusually fine case has Swiss marking and patent pending after 1922 U.S. patent for pentagon. I have many gold Gruen pentagons but none better than this one.

A truly beautiful case! Is that actually enamel where the case has blue??

Both black and blue enamel. Notice dial 2 on 12 incomplete. I have a parts dial with replacement. The gold numbers on silver like this were common to many Gruen p.w. This one helps confirm my belief of Swiss sources for Gruen dials.
