Triple date moonphase chronographs, seperating the good and the bad.

    Hi f11´ers

After selling some watches I have some funds and I am finally going to look for a vintage triple date moonphase chronograph.
There seem to be rampant Breitling fakes out there and would like some guidance.

Movement wise it seems the Valjoux 88 is the way to go, no? Suggestions, some brands like Angelus featured inhouse calibers, how do they compare to the VJ88?

Brandwise I have seen Angelus Chronodatoluxe, and Universal Tri-compaxes. Bovet,Gallet etc. The bigger names like Heuer and Breitling are probably way out of my range.

If i were to set a budget off 1500 euro. And wanted a 37/38mm or bigger STEEL case. Which watch would you look out for and why?
Vintage Chronographs and Divers are my thing.
