Tritium or Radium on this Girard Perregaux?

Hey guys with the recent alerts about radon gases I've gone through my collection and I really don't even have very many watches to be concerned about. However, I am slightly confused on this GP. On the case back it is dated 1955-1975 does this mean the watch was made in 1975? Regardless it doesn't have the T T tritium marks so is it radium? Any thoughts?

I think that engraving indicates that Anthony was given the watch to commemorate his 20th anniversary of working at the company in 1975. So probably not radium.

Good assumption, case back dates rarely commemorate future events.

Could be a 60's model that finally got sold in '75. Has the 60's look to it and it's tritium.

Wouldn't worry about radon gas. You've been living with it all your life

Thanks guys, I just wasn't sure if tritium was always marked. I think it's safe to assume that the unmarked Accutrons from the 70s are tritium as well.

Dial could be refinished and T marks left off

    Accutrons also most likely tritium

    Well yes and no.

I had a 1994 Accutron quartz watch that was engraved with a award date of 1992. So ether somebody forgot to honor this guy in 1992 and only remembered in 1994 or the watch was sent back in time.........
