    trying to identify chalet watch

trying to identify a chalet watch age not known, but at least 50 years old. Gold with gold expanding band. Watch has hallmark looks like a hand in a square. The face is white with vertical ribs and marked France at the bottom of the dial. It has a steel back marked anti magnetic. on the back is a 5 digit number 15151. Any help to identify would be appreciated. Could upload photo.

Re: trying to identify chalet watch

Near the top of the forum is a post titled "Dating and Identification. Read this first"... read it. It will tell you how to proceed. And remember, a picture is worth a thousand words

Welcome to Vintage where the passage of time is seen as "aging" not "getting old"
"Forever is composed of nows." - Emily Dickinson

"The watch has to be surrounded by a history.
You need more than just a great design. You need to create an atmosphere around the product.
Who is the company behind it? Why are they using this material?
People need to be able to identify the watch with themselves. It's based on emotion." - Ralph Furter

...that's just my opinion and I've been wrong before and will be again and might be now!
