Size: 28.8 KBI got this offf the 'Bay a year ago, thinking it might have been mis-identified. It wasn't running when I got it and I put it in my junk box.
I opened it this morning and now I'm not so sure. Any opinions would be welcome. Thanks in advance!!

I've seen a similar UG that if I remember correctly was from the 70's. There doesn't seem to be anything that screams it's not a legitimate UG.

Thank you! If it wasn't legit would it have the jeweler's service marks and all the 18K id's? If it's a good one I made the deal of the century on it!

It looks okay to me - but what do I know? Serial numbers to 1967 are here:

The hallmarks are probably legit. Even pirates hesitate to deliberately fake gold hallmarks. Its one thing to copy a brand name, but faking a hallmark puts you under the crosshairs of the government.

Thanks Fantasy and Hartmut, I feel kind of embarrassed, especially for the poor guy on the Bay who sold it to me. The watch almost has a "fake" look to it --I think that's what threw the seller off; I hope he's not a member or lurker here.
As icing on the cake, the watch didn't run when I got it a year ago, but when I opened it the other day and twiddled wirh it a bit , it's telling good time!
It may have had a poor last servicing as a screw is missing on one of the plates and one of the rubies doesn't look like it's seated correctly, but I'm looking at a replacement movement that would put that right with the help of a watchmaker.
Thanks again for your help and interest!!

Don't replace te movement! That would devalue the watch. Just have it repaired - a screw of the right size and a jewel should be easily enough found.
