Ulysse Nardin Day Date Authentication/General Info

Hi all, longtime lurker! Decided to purchase a Ulysse Nardin. I did a little bit of digging and everything looks on the up and up as far as the authenticity goes

I wanted to get a second opinion from people that are smarter and have more experience than myself.

What do you all think? Should I worry about authenticity/any other issues?

    Thank you!

That is definitely a refinished dial.
The paint has lapped over the markers in places, and where is the minute/seconds track?

Try contacting here: Contact Ulysse Nardin - Ulysse Nardin - Le Locle - Suisse - Swiss Mechanical Watch Manufacturer

for information on the watch, giving the serial number on the movement.
I doubt it is genuine myself, but others will chip in who are more knowledgeable than me hopefully.

Ulysse Nardin doesn't look right on that rotor weight to me, nor the serial number on it either... I'd expect to see that on a bridge, most likely the train bridge but... UN isn't on my radar yet. That's s proprietary movement too, not in-house.

If it were me and my money I'd walk away - that one gives me a bad feeling... Hope that's not bad news OP!!
    Welcome BTW

    Hi and welcome
You should post before you buy.
Chance of that watch being genuine is less than 40% to me.
Movement looks incorrect (badly inscribed) , dial looks incorrect(poor)

40%? That much?! I'd be struggling to give it 1%.....

The dial is 100% refinished and not even all that well. The missing minuterie is not crucial since many watches lack it. The movement is a mundane Felsa Cal. 4006:

...with not much finissage which one would expect from one of ther better makers like UN (even in the days when they were using generic movements). What really kills it for me is what has been pointed out already: serial number on rotor. My verdict: complete fake.

Wow thank you so much for your input! I have notified the seller and I am well within my right to a refund. I am just disappointed.
