    Unable to choose!

Some 60's & 70's loveliness should be crossing land and sea to be with me soon.
Which of these three would you have picked? Seller's pictures:

No I couldn't pick a favourite either, so snagged a deal for all three!
Pretty sure these are original condition, couldn't pass them up.
Now all I need to do is work out how to tell Mrs. V.

Seller has plenty more on that terrible auction site.

That's tough... I couldn't pick one either. I'm a bit unconventional being that I'm from Miami, so I don't shy away from stuff that's a bit garrish. I'd have to pick the one in the middle if I could ONLY have one. There's just something about it.

Thanks guys. Yes it was the Lanco that drew me in. I thought the condition was a bit too good to be true, so I did my usual due diligence of checking out the seller's other stuff (frankenwatch hunt.)
That was a mistake, I would up buying three. Could easily have spent more.

The Lanco's my pick, but getting all three solves the conundrum. Well done!

I remembered that I has something similar to the Lanco in my big box of junkwatches.

And here it is. But why show this watch you might ask?

Because of this! Lanco and Tissot with a few others belonged to the same stable so you sometimes find Tissot movements in them and these are really special. In this watch lurks a caliber 784-2. Tissot removed the regulator pointer with screw on these but that is really just for show as you can regulate them just fine without them.

    Re: Unable to choose!

Langendorf and Co. were bought by Omega / Tissot in '65. I think the Langendorf factory kept going until '73, but sources on the interweb differ.
My guess is that this one is post 1965. So yes, it could well have a Tissot movement. The case does look remarkably similar to your Exona doesn't it?

I'm on the Lanco train with everyone else...it's hip to be square! (Or at least square-ish )

Very similar but the lugs are not the same. The Lanco has a more constant curve.

Yeah, I like the Lanco too. I think it's the high polish that catches my eye!
