    Universal Geneve White Shadow

I got this recently. A UG White Shadow - featuring the world's thinnest automatic movement at the time. A small blemish on the dial, not a UG crown, but with an original Universal bracelet - to which I had to have a small repair which took weeks. I finally got it back today. I'm rather pleased !

Read all about the model at:

    http://pictures.watchfans.org/weekly/week.htm

But mine has the 1-66 movement not the 2-66.

Is this the famous Microrotor? Beautiful movement!

You need more than just a great design. You need to create an atmosphere around the product.
Who is the company behind it? Why are they using this material?
People need to be able to identify the watch with themselves. It's based on emotion." - Ralph Furter

A very sharp watch Marrick, congrats.
I really like the cusion shaped watches of the 70s.
I would assume this is the approx vintage...

I would like to be able to add a micro rotor to my collection.

    Peace,
    Scott

One of them - but slimmer and with no second hand. It has a very quiet tick so its a bit hard to be sure its going.

BTW, you have to take the bracelet off before the back can be removed, so I won't be looking at it too often.

    Thanks Scott.

The serial number is 2598418. The table in the link I've just put into the 'links' sub forum goes to 1967 with a slightly lower number. So I think its 1968.
