    Unknown Pendant Watch 14k Case

This watch case was sold on eBay. It was described as solid 14k gold, with real diamonds. I am unfamiliar with the marks and was wondering if someone could help out? It is a pendant mechanical watch, unknown make, which I assume is Swiss. I would also question the "diamonds" as they appear to be glued in, rather than prong set as real diamonds usually are.

    Any comments welcomed.

The squirrel is the Swiss symbol for 14K (0.585) gold. If that's a G above its head, I believe that means it was assayed in Geneva. The crown and flower are probably the case maker's marks.

Thanks Marrick. The fellow purchasing the watch was pretty unhappy with the diamonds, but said nothing in his feedback about the case material. I would assume, seeing the case is solid gold, there is a good chance the diamonds were also. Regards, -Gord
