An unusual automatic Nivada lady watch?

    Hi,

I like those unusual but inexpensive watches, so here it is. It has an a 17 jewels automatic movement that has a number 5106 under the balance. Is it an ETA movement? I don't think Nivada made an in-house movement, but I could be wrong.

Cal. 5106? Unlikely to be ETA - their calibre numbers didn't go up that high. Try Adolf Schild - they had a Cal. 5106 and it was also a day-date:

I have an AS 1700/01 which has the number under the balance wheel and which only reveals the "AS" stamp when the balance cock is removed.
