Vacheron Constantin - Help with identifying

Hi guys, I been lent an old VC from a work contact to potentially feature on my channel. He's not much of a watch guy and can't tell me much about it at all. Any help with identifying this would be much appreciated!

Number on case back is: 640495. Otherwise it just says "Vacheron Constantin" and Geneve in the center.

Case diameter is 32mm, lug width 17mm, thickness 5.5mm (!).

1970s-1980s. Anything earlier than that would be marked Vacheron & Constantin. If you want to know more - for one, if it's legit at all - a picture of the movement and the inner side of the case back will be necessary.

Thank you for the input! As it doesn't belong to me I don't feel I should remove the case back... will need to think about how else I can find out more. Cheers!
