    Valjoux 22 or?

    Hi!

Need some help to identify this movement, but i'm almost sure it's a Valjoux 22,

no marking, the surfaces are a little bit rough, incabloc tells it's a later version or ?,

breguet spring, movement diam. 31,5, can someone verify it i would be gratefull.

    Thanks in advance.

Here's another quiz, a little bit harder i guess, what is this the remains of, maybe a 23 ? diam. 29,6 mm.

    Hi irontex,

    Looks like a Valjoux VZ.

It should definitely be a Valjoux movement of sorts since the column wheel has nine columns on it. As for the exact ID, one probably just has to take a close look at the remaining parts.....

As Hartmut said you need to work with what you have.

Fist the size is 29.5 so is within your spec. Next I always look at the hammer (H) then the sliding gear (GS) then the springs (S). Once you have found a match you can suggest the movement.

    Re: Valjoux 22 or?

I'm almost 100% sure the first is a 22 due its diameter, the remains is either a 23 or a VZ, the dial side is spot on for a VZ, so i say it's VZ, why i asked here is because there are people who can tell wich caliber it is with just a glance on the movement, so thanks
