    Valjoux 72c, triple calendar

Hi guys, Just bought a 1950's watch with a Valjoux 72c caliber (the triple date one).

Apparently, everything is ok with the movement. Can anyone recommend an experienced watchmaker to service it?

    Thanks!

Hello there, the movement is great, pls post a picture of the face...

A watchmaker depends where you live, I see from your profile "somewhere nice"....

Use Joe the watchmaker in Justasnice 2

[really. do you want to ship it out to wherever or use a local watchmaker? If your name is any indication of where you live then i can actually recommend a 'possible' watchmaker]

    Re: Valjoux 72c, triple calendar

Thanks for the replies guys. Watch is in Michigan, I can ship it anywhere in the USA. Or could wait until I go back to Peru and get it serviced there. DaBaeker, do you have a good watchmaker there?
I just don't want to give it to any watchmaker. I need a watchmaker that has repaired these type of calibers before.
    Any suggestions welcomed.
    Cheers

    A chronograph specialist:

    chronodeco - Repair and Restoration

Craig is not cheap, but he is excellent with vintage chronos.

if it just needs to be checked and lubricated you could take it to any decent watchmaker for this job although a specialist with chronos I suppose might be the best. but routine service shouldnt be too hard.

Yup, Chronodeco does nice work. Here's my V72C that he serviced for me.
