    Vanroy watch

Saw add for this watch on our local classifieds. Googled but could not find any info about this watch. Appears to be a diver watch and movement is Swiss made. Dial appears to be in original condition.

Looks nice but the main hands are definitely trashed. One probably lost its end (the bit with the lume in) and the other was cut down to size. Or both were trashed around the same time. Once you get some replacements, it should look rather splendid.

I checked the bible of Kathleen Pritchard - Swiss Timemakers - no mention of VanRoy - sorry
    Movement may help

    What is the movement?

Neat look. As Hartmut suggests, some new hands and you are good to go. Funky dial!

The dial is kinda beautiful. The dark blue to light blue gradient creating a kind of horizon effect is cool.

A quick google search showed a few different models for sale. One looked like your watch.

Vanroy doesn't show up in Mikrolisk either. Perhaps it was a private label brand?

That does not surprise me, I think he took much of his info from Kathleen books

    Re: Vanroy watch

Thanks for the replies. The only thing that attracted me was it's dial. I was thinking of purchasing it but don't want to pay 40 dollars for it.
