Vintage Bel-lux brevet triple Calendar - help

    Hi all
I was at a bricks and mortar store today and saw something practically identical to this:
    http://www.watchestobuy.com/LumoxComplication.htm

Except the dial text said bel-lux instead of Lumox. A very quick google search revealed nothing (apart from the above link).

    Views? Value? Collectibility?

Unfortunately these are not really perpetual calendars - you have to manually reset after every 30 day month.

Interesting - yes. Common - no. Value - what ever someone will pay if that equals what ever someone will sell. We don't do values here. Collectable - very!

It is just a triple calendar (=full calendar), not a perpetual calendar. The base movement is by Fontainemelon (FHF):

...but Ranfft gives no derivate with a full calendar display so that bit may well have been added by someone other than FHF.

Thanks. I've found a couple of identical watches on the bay, each with different brand names. Are you familiar with bel lux? What does brevet mean?

brevet means patent or patented. Many small shops assembled (or had assembled) watches from suppliers and then retailed under their name. Pretty Luxury (bel lux) is most likely one of them.
