    Are vintage bracelets become collectible?

    Hi,

I saw some big brand bracelets sell for a few thousand US dollars. Are these become collectible items now?

I would like to know how a stainless steel bracelet was made. Some seem quite complicated with hundreds of metal parts, and probably was hand made/assembled?

Please show us your most interesting bracelets and bands as people never paid much attention to them.

Here is one from a Chinese Seagull brand dive watch.

    Cheers

One of my fave vintages is a Zenith Defy on its sporty ladder bracelet.
I had hoped to revive the style for the current vintage diver project in Affordables but its style was more than a little polarising.

It also came on this wonderful 1960s Zenith diver:

    Hi Soviet,

The older bonklip bracelets are interesting and collectable with the right watch.

Certainly the 70's Swiss NSA bracelets are well made and are sometimes expensive to pick up.

Some of them had a nifty spring clasp that expands around the wrist.

Gay Freres bracelets have long been admired.

The Eterna Kontiki I had was on a really nice bracelet. It was supposedly a Gay Freres made one.

    Hi MrDagon007,

Thanks for your reply and images.
I am learning from you about the types and names of those nice bracelets. The reason I started this thread is that I think some bracelets and bands look very attractive and well made. If they were not made by robots on an automatic production line, they could also be costly to make and assemble, so that these could become collectible, or already be collecible. :)

Beads of rice always a bonus on a vintage Enicar and now getting quite expensive.
