    Vintage Longines Help

Saw this Longines on eBay. I looked up the movement serial and it dates to around 1940. The dial does have some fading and blemish, but its rather charming. Can anyone attest to what model this is, and if it is correct? I cant find a similar dial variation. Thanks in advance. He says the case is 35mm, which is an added bonus if everything checks out.

    Re: Vintage Longines Help

Never seen that dial design before. It looks a bit off to me for Longines, so far as design and alignment of the numerals goes. The movement looks like a 12.68ZS or 12L that is missing some parts associated with the centre-seconds function. I have a watch that has what looks to be a similar case, save for the internal diameter (10.5''' 23M rather than a 12''' 12L). It measures out at 34.8mm on the diameter. Mine has a rather poorly refinished dial, so I'm on the lookout for a replacement.

So does this model have center seconds? Didn?t know if it didn?t or if it was actually missing a center seconds hand.
