    Vintage Longines Wittnauer Traveler - unusual

    I came across this watch and bought it due to it`s beauty, so would like to know a bit more about this piece..

    I can't add any information but it is a real looker...Wittnauer always used good quality movements and the pointer date is a desirable feature. Congrats.

    It is a rather interesting watch. It has a day-of-the-week indication in the place that most day-date watches have them, yet the date window is missing and instead it has a pointer date. It looks like a "normal" day-date movement converted to pointer date without doing anything to the day-of-the-week.....

    But yes, it certainly has style!
