Vintage Omega Seamaster Authenticity and Identity

Hello all - I just signed up to these forums and consider myself a newb in the watch world. I have a small humble collection including a Seiko Diver and a Russian made automatic Vostok diver.

I recently was given an older Omega Seamaster but I have no idea on any details on model number, serial number or anything. I was hoping to get some help on identifying its authenticity and getting any other available information on it. It seems to be working and I set the time on it but I don't feel comfortable removing the caseback to see if there is any serial numbers other identifying info on the movement. Any help is much appreciated!

Apologies in advance if the images are too big.

Welcome to watchuseek. Unfortunately, the dial of your watch has been repainted in an amateurish way. Other than that, it appears to be a gold-plated Omega Seamaster, but the important information is on the inside of the case-back and the movement. You will need to have the back removed and take photos. See if you can take some clear, well-lit, in-focus photos.

Looks to be circa 1960 but as Dan said the movement and case back will reveal all.
