Vintage pocket watch and/ stop watch

Wondering what the value would be on this pocket watch/ stop watch. It still works and was engraved in 1896.

No serious valuations made here according to forum rules. It would be interesting to see the movement (under the lid with the engraving). Carefully lever open where indicated. It's not exactly opposite the hinges to be able to better operate due to the crown there. Start with the thumbnail and if this doesn't work (most likely), take a short and a sharp knife. There are special case-openers for that, but a knife should do as well. If you take the picture of that young man out, you could also provide an image with the (hall-) marks underneath, most likely revealing if it is silver (I think so from the looks) or not and if silver, what type.

I think one can say more with that additional information about movement and case-material.

As to the brand, the movement is signed "The Ascot", so here are the results for Ascot in Mikrolisk:
Mikrolisk - The horological trade mark index
No idea about the calibre, though.
The case is .935 silver, which essentially means 93.5% silver in the alloy.
