    Vintage ROLEX

Guys, I am the owner of a vintage Rolex watch that is in the pictures below.I did not find any reference on the net about this model. Also, I have not found on any seit on sale. Therefore, I ask your support specialist.I'm interested in the year of manufacture, model, caliber, number of copies produced, at what price can be assessed any information.I believe it belongs to the 40s.For the age that has the watch looks great and works well.

    Re: Vintage ROLEX

Your Rolex has the calibre Rolex 1200:

    ...which was introduced in 1954.
Others will be able to tell you more.
It's in a GREAT condition for its age... So great that I would think it was refurbished at some point, but since I know too little about identifying vintage Rolex watches, I will admit that I cannot be of any more help, and I will leave that to the experts, who- of course- will be here soon.

Well, if I were to play the role of an advocatus diaboli, what the OP said can also be interpreted as an unfortunate (easily misinterpreted, that is) attempt to say that he is still waiting for more opinions. Which is fine and hopefully some more opinions will appear. If it wasn't that, it's not arrogance, it's more of a tell-tale sign of conceit.
Nevertheless, we have established the calibre number and that the watch was made after 1954.

The dial appears to be offset about a mil or so to the right; it doesn't quite line up with the markers. Probalby a redial. The movement looks as though it should be secured with screws that are missing; I can't see well enough to tell if there are appropriate marks on the lip of the case edge.

Yes, the watchmaker told me that two screws of the movement are broken.Dial and markers are perfectly aligned. It is probably a reflection of the glass.
The model number stamped on back (inside) case is 8938.
I don't speak english and I use the Google translator. If I mistake speech and writing, I apologize. However, I did not understand why GhentWatch say that I am highly arrogant.I want to get as many information about my watch, nothing more. The first response that I received from mkvs, he said that I will get more answers from experts.I expected response of experts, instead, a Mr. user say that I am arrogant.
Thank you for yours patience and understanding.

    Just a misunderstanding I believe.

I said that I hope you will get more responses from people who know more about Rolex than me. GhentWatch has, I believe, misinterpreted your answer to my post, and it's the fault of Google Translate, as it turns out. Because, you see, it could be interpreted both as hoping to get more answers (which you did intend to say), and suggesting that I haven't got the knowledge to say anything at all (which you of course did not mean).
