    Question Vintage Rolex ID help!!!

I've done a little research and it's going slow and I'm strapped for time. I've found very similar movements but not this exact one. Any ideas

"17 rubies" "extra prima" "timed 6 positions" "Rolex hairspring"

Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance.

There are an amazing number of Rolex experts in the Rolex forum. And that is one of the brand forums where they understand their linage not just what ADs are flogging today. So they may be a real help.

You need more than just a great design. You need to create an atmosphere around the product.
Who is the company behind it? Why are they using this material?
People need to be able to identify the watch with themselves. It's based on emotion." - Ralph Furter

    Hi Eric,

it is a Rolex 600. It is not yet in my archive, but it is the base of the first Rolex
automatics 620 (sub second) and 630 (sweep second). Compare with this one:
    bidfun-db Rolex_630: Rolex 630
