After buying that Hamiltion Electronic that I mentioned in a previous post and getting it (and seeing how great it looked and how great condition it was in) i decided to hunt for more Dynotron based Electronics.
I came across a stainless steel cased SIGNAL branded Electronic watch. The watch had a crown at 3 o'clock and it said Swiss on the bottom of the dial. I suspected it had a Dynotron ESA 9158 movement in it. I bought it and got it on Thursday. It is in great shape and it does in fact have a Dynotron ESA 9158 movement in it. The movement is missing its movement number plate and does not have Signal on the movement
The inside of the case back says Hong Kong.
The watch looks good and runs well. I just cannot find anything related to Signal watch company. It is also not in the Electronic watch database on the http://electric-watches.co.uk/ site (the bible for electric/electronic watches)
Is this some rare watch or a prototype? It now has a place of honor in my watch collection
