    Vintage Stopwatch Photos

Any info where this stopwatch fits in the context of vintage watches would be appreciated.

    Re: Vintage Stopwatch Photos

I would say stop watches are a sub-culture of collecting. We have a few members with some nice collections. I have a few I acquired via my Heuer collecting - stopwatches were a specialty of Heuer, especially the early electronics.

These are usually pin level movements. I assume this was one of the East German products. It would be interesting to see the movement.

You need more than just a great design. You need to create an atmosphere around the product.
Who is the company behind it? Why are they using this material?
People need to be able to identify the watch with themselves. It's based on emotion." - Ralph Furter

...that's just my opinion and I've been wrong before and will be again and might be now!
