I'm strongly considering buying a Tissot Seastar with a Lemania cal. 1281 movement inside (sorry, can't post pics/links yet). Seller claims the watch is all original and only needs a servicing in the near future, due to the chrono second hand not resetting perfectly to zero. He wants $575 USD, which seems like a good deal. Anyone with experience in vintage Lemania movement servicing, please talk me out of this if they are a pain/expensive. Seems like these old Tissot's are a good value prop. at the moment given they're legendary movements.
Much appreciated for any help/tips that you guys are willing to offer.
