Vintage Watches...need info (Rolex, Patek Philippe, Tiffany & Co, Movado)

Hey guys just getting into the watch thing and would love to know more about the watches we own.

    1. Patek Philippe

From what I know this watch was given to my grandfather by Chester Roth of Kayser-Roth Corp. The back says "To Irwin with deep affection , Chester 3.22.68"

    2. Bubble Back (so I've been told) Rolex

    3. Tiffany & Co

    4. Movado

    5. Porsche Design

This watch I'm pretty sure my dad bought at or around the same time he bought his 1981 911SC. I dig this one a lot due to the patina matching that of the car.

    and a group shot

Would love any info you guys may be able to provide. These are the only pictures I have of these watches so before anyone asks, I dont have any movement shots :(

    Wonderful watches!

Pateks are, well Pateks... always top rate. Way too expensive for me to know much about!

For the same reason, I know little about Rolexes... alas. I was born to unrich parents...

The Tiffiny looks like a 50's watch to me.

The Movado looks like a 40's or 50's watch... but movement -- oh, you already mentioned that! LOL

The PD is a Valjoux 7750. Looks 80's or 90's to me.

Your family has good taste in watches!
"Forever is composed of nows." - Emily Dickinson

"The watch has to be surrounded by a history.
You need more than just a great design. You need to create an atmosphere around the product.
Who is the company behind it? Why are they using this material?
People need to be able to identify the watch with themselves. It's based on emotion." - Ralph Furter

...that's just my opinion and I've been wrong before and will be again and might be now!

I'd love to be able to tell you something but, like many others who contribute to this forum, I'm unfamiliar with such valuable watches. Very nice though! You could try posting the Rolex in the WUS Rolex forum - https://forums.watchuseek.com/f23/
