    A Waltham

This belonged to my Grandfather. What can all y'all tell me about it?
    Thanks, Dave.

Very nice 19 jewel 16S Waltham Riverside made in 1918. Also excellent 14K gold-filled case by Keystone (one of the best case makers.)
This is a fine quality watch and well worth getting serviced and restored if needed. A great family heirloom and thanks for posting it.

Thanks Ray. I'd forgotten that Mother had given this to me. I'll get it cleaned and oiled before I put it away.

Why not buy a glass display dome and put the watch on display? It's a very fine piece. Lots of these domes on eBay for $10-$12.

Wow, what a great idea, I wouldn't have thought of that. Thanks again.

Displaying heirloom pocket watches is a great idea.

After I got mine repaired and serviced I purchased a dome display and put it on my desk.

The watch is getting used, I'm reminded of its' history and I can share it with everyone who sees it.

    Enjoy it.
