    Waltham ID help

Hi all, been lurking here for a while and posting in the Tag Heuer forum. Wanted to come over here and ask help to ID my grand-fathers Waltham. Based on reading I believe it to be a hunter watch and not very old (as vintages go). Also tomorrow night I am picking up a Heuer trench watch, I hope that one is not a mistake as I have not seen a Heuer wire lug trench watch at all. Pictures of that one to follow, for now the Waltham.Name: IMG_0444 (2).jpg

Wow thanks, I would have never put it that old. I suspect a 17 jewel in those days was of decent quality.

I'm guessing you're from Canada. Or at least your watch is. The "24 hr" dial was prevalent in Canada due to the fact that the Canadian railroad used 24hr time for their schedules, and the case was made by the American Watch Case Company in Toronto. "Fortune" was one of their more economical cases: American Watch Case Co. - National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors Message Board
