    Waltham Question

I have a Waltham, SN 4,395,634 that I date to 1889. I believe that it is a size 6, but I could not find any info on the movement name or number of jewels.

On a separate note, the case is Waltham as well but I cannot find any marks other than the company name and serial number so I am not sure if it is filled or solid. It does have a rose gold look to it though.

    Any info is appreciated.

Yes, it's a size 6. The model is 1873 and it has 7 jewels.
The case is unlikely to be gold, but pictures of the markings or at least exactly what the case markings are would give us a better idea.

Hmm...the case might be older then the watch; Waltham stopped making cases earlier then 1898 I thought.

OK, now that we can see the marking, I can tell you that it actually is a gold case. I'm not sure of the karat, as my reference states 8K on the inside and 14K outside---whatever that means. 14K plate on top of an 8K core?
Overall, it's a nice looking case.
