A Waltham Trench watch - Blurry auction photos, lots buys - love'm

I won a lot of 4 watches on a local on-line auction, a Timex, a Roamer trench (my main reason for bidding), a Pierpoint and this Waltham trench watch.

I only had this photo to go on, which I have cropped from the original group shot. Blury photos - are so exciting, a lot like lucky dips when I was a kid

It'll likely arrive later today - and the mystery awaits when I will find out what exactly I have bought, its condition, movement and size.

    Here's my guess:

early-mid 1920s, 3/0 nickel case - export model (USA on dial) so probably a lowly 7 jewel 1907 gilt movement.

    Tomorrow will tell all. Probably

Oh the Timex is awesome. Made in some strange place called 'Great Britain' - I need to check my Swiss maps, because I don't know if that is in the German or French speaking part.

P.S. The Roamer is really nice, it just turned up in the post 10 mins ago.

    Not all..... most!

As for being 'cheap'.... still bargains to be had, just few and far between.....

Ah, yes. This thread. Must post photos - but in the mean time...

A little update, so I was a bit (mostly) wrong, but in a good way.

    Serial number 20806976

    1915, not 1920s
    A larger 0 size 1900 movement, not a smaller 3/0 size 1907
    Case is Silver not nickel.

    The things I got correct,

Movement is a 7 jewel with gilt finish.

Photos to come. I Promise. Really

    And here they are:

Apparently this is quite an uncommon dial, and is in great condition under that dirt.

Here is the Roamer I promised from the same batch, in a silver case - I will do a better post dedicated to this one later.
