Want a vintage watch, but not sure which

I'd like my collection to include a swiss watch from the 60s or 70s. My budget is anything up to $500
since I already have an omega, I probably wouldn't include that brand in my search, but aside from the "Big O" any recommendations? (mechanical or auto only)

So many to work with. I'd look at Hamilton, Tissot - that kind of thing. What are you looking for in a watch? Classy/ Dress, military, chronograph, gold/ silver, diver, pilot - the list goes on and on
Pink Floyd. Dark side of the moon. Side one, track four.

The Swiss made some fabulous watches in the 1960's. Not so many in the 70's ( imo).
i would say that basically any recognised brand is a good buy.
I think you should look into Longines. Once a better brand than Omega!

If you have a " wide" taste, do not forget the ( today) obsolete technologies. Tuning fork, or the Omega made Mega Sonic Tuning fork, or the early Quartz watches.
