    watch picked up at flea market can anyone help me out

    ok so i picked this up at a flea market for $35 it says 10k with a star on the back and a guys name 25 years its a wittnauer it looks to be 60's works great beautiful watch

    No - we just don't do valuations in here. Obviously, a solid gold case has value, and Wittnauer is a decent brand. But as a matter of policy, values are not discussed.

    Have a look at what similar watches go for on ebay.

    is there any chance i can find out what year it was made?

    I don't think there is a dating table for Wittnauer serial numbers (if they even had serial numbers).

    You can use gold hallmarks for dating if it was assayed in U.K. but that's unlikely in this case unless you bought it in the U.K. (and hence may have been imported into the U.K. when new) since the watch wasn't made there
