Watches to Fix Giveaway Day 3

Here are Day 3 watches and all are good cosmetically but don't run correctly. The first one is a Hunter GMT, next is a Listen (not a clue) and last is a 10k GF Waltham.

The 3rd private message I receive after 8:00 PM Eastern time on 11/21/2015 that says "I'll take em" will get this lot.

EDIT: Pics didn't post so they are in post below

"Listen" was a brand of Jowissa Watch SA of Bettlach. In view of the fact that Ebauches Bettlach must have been "only around the corner", it is a little surprising that they went to Grenchen for this movement:

What does the "Pioneer" mean in the waltham caseback. I don't think I've seen a waltham watch with a model name in the caseback.

Mikrolisk lists a Pioneer trademark registered to Waltham, but it isn't necessarily a model name, apparently case grades had names too. At least some American case companies used them, AFAIK.

I have had and seen many "Pioneer Waltham" branded cases.

I have one in my possession now that is 18 size sterling silver. The "Pioneer" sterling cases(which is where I believe the name was first used) are interesting as they fairly thin sterling silver and have a separate nickel silver "frame" to stiffen the case. The one I have shows a lot of "battle scars" but the key parts of the case(the swing ring and the bezel screws) are in serviceable condition.

That said, were they to Waltham watch cases* what Chronographe Suisse cases are to solid gold watches? I have little knowledge of American PWs, yet in my flea market trips I have seen some Walthams and Elgins, so I'm asking out of curiosity, should I encounter a Waltham in a Pioneer grade case.

I just thought I'd pounce on this opportunity to share some images of my Waltham pocket watch that happens to feature a sterling silver 'Pioneer' swing-out case. Apologies for the quality of the images they were taken on my iPhone:

As Ben mentioned above they are fairly common yet they are impressively high quality and also very robust!

Re: Watches to Fix Giveaway Day 3

I'd posit that the "Pioneer" marking in the wrist watch is actually related to the Pioneer Watch Case Company of Mount Vernon, NY. They made goldfilled cases from the 1930s through the 1950s for Gruen, Hamilton and others. They also used a hallmark (similar to Star WC CO's small star) that is a 'P' within a Triangle. I think the pocketwatch is related to a completely different manufacturer and is a trademark name for case composition (as mentioned above) rather than the company.
All that I know is based on the hard work and writing of others. I can only aspire to augment this body of knowledge. If I am wrong it is because of my own failings. To quote Newton, "If I have seen farther it is by standing on the shoulders of giants."
