    What about UMF Ruhla Saturn pocket watch?Real pics inside the thread.

    Tell me something about it.Its written "Made in Germany"on the dial,not "DDR" Is it from the World War 2?I will post pics later.

    The UMF Ruhla was established in 1952.
    You can find very low quality movement with pin pallet escapement in most of Ruhla wathches. I think your Saturn's movement is a better one ;)

    Thank you for the answer.Is this UMF watch expensive?I saw the same one on ebay auction and the price was 250 USD.But mine is in better condition.

    I belive this watch is overpriced at $250, the last zero should be ignored ;)
    I have a Ruhla pocket watch in plastic (!) case, that was $2 at flea market.

    Best way to find out the power reserve on an older watch is to wind it up and let it run down.
