What case should I get for this Pocket watch movement?

A friend of mine looked in his junk drawer and gave me this beautiful movement from a watch who's case had been melted down. It is a shame that such a nice piece achieved such a fate. I would like to make it right and put it in a new/old case. I know nothing about pocket watches and there is no name on the dial or movement. There is a serial number. It is 1303182. Does anyone recognize it and, more importantly, can you please tell me what size and type of case I should look for? I show the dimensions in a picture below.

    Thank you,

    Charlie

    Hello Enrico,

Thank you for your interest and help. My best guess is that the mark you refer to is a Swiss cross. Here is a slightly clearer picture.

I should point out that there is a pin set at approximately the 11 O'clock position with the dial facing you.

Looks like a Schild Freres (Eterna) movement, probably Cal. 165:

Hartmut was faster but I came to the same result. Within the cross should be written PROT. It's a better fitting than usual with 16/17 stones and the chatons but this caliber isn't really rare. I would look over the time in the bay until I found a cheap watch with broken balance and/or smashed dial and change hole the content.

    Kind regards Silke

    Thank you gentlemen,

I really do appreciate your quick responses. I think that I've found a picture of what I need.

Most pin set cases that I see, seem to have the pin at the 1 o'clock position. mine is at 11.

If anyone has a broken watch with this case collecting dust, please let me know.

    Best Regards,

    Charlie

Eterna thin movement usually comes in "empire style" case. Different brands were used Eterna factory for sourcing.

    Example from my collection

    Movement is close to yours

Thank you for your help and the pictures German. You are right the movements are very similar. The case retaining screws and jewels are different. The pictures really help me to understand what I am looking for.

Is there any other identifying term that I can use in my search? So far, I know to look for an thin Eterna 165 in an Empire case.

Thanks to everyone who's helped my quest. This is a great community.
