Does anyone know what specific kind of damage this is? I'm assuming it's the lacquer, maybe due to humidity, but wondering if anyone has any additional insight.
The dial looks absolutely flawless from many angles, mildly patinated from others, and then under direct overhead lighting, like the image on the left (though the photo makes it look slightly worse than it is).
Is this normal? When I see photos of watches with patina online, do they also have "bad angles" that bring damage like this to worst light?
