    What model is this?

Can anyone identify this pocket watch? I have not attempted to open or 'explore' it, and cannot find any like it online to see what model, how old, what it's worth etc. Thanks for any help you can give.

I saw this one or very similar again in this forum, dont remember the thread title.

Dont see case marks, anyway I am not educated about them yet. Looks like more recent, Glycine with the crown logo is being used from 1967 forwards, so its not a very old piece but still a vintage pocket watch. Use it in good days.

Welcome to the Vintage forum. I agree that the watch is distinctly post-WWII. My bet is on a Unitas Cal. 6498 (now ETA 6498):

Updated pics of the back off. If anyone knows a value I'd appreciate it...

No valuations here. Read the reference posts at the top of the forum and in the Links and Articles for reasons why (and for lots of good general information). Completed eBay sales will give you a general idea on 'wholesale' values (i.e. what you could actually sell the watch for). For retailer values, add the cost of service plus some.

"The watch has to be surrounded by a history.
You need more than just a great design. You need to create an atmosphere around the product.
Who is the company behind it? Why are they using this material?
People need to be able to identify the watch with themselves. It's based on emotion." - Ralph Furter

...that's just my opinion and I've been wrong before and will be again and might be now!

That's the ol' Unitas 6498 (=ETA 6498) all right! See here:
