I've been restoring old american pocket watches for about a year or so, have learned alot, but the only swiss pocket movements I've messed with are Unitas 6497/8 and 6445. This thing says swiss on the dial, which used to be awesome till someone used a jackhammer to try and extract it. The movement is beautiful,. Little beat up, little rust, but it has 15 jewels and nice stripes etched into it so I'd say someone loved it when they made it, it's not just one of the old beaters. Had a militaryish dial and used to be lumed hands. It's about the same size as an American 16. Has a phillidelphia silverode case that says "imitation silver" instead of silverode. Definitely not like any american phillidelphia cases. Thinner metal. The stem is like this swiss ones as well. Mounts to the movement not the case. Anyways I fell in love with it even though it's rough, and I'd love to get it going, but I need a balance cap Jewel. Runs perfect upside down, stops dead right side up, Jewel is cracked. Plus the click spring took flight and probably landed overseas. To find parts I just hope someone can tell me what this is, I can't find anything like it. Thanks in advance.
