When was the Ronda 726 quartz movement introduced?

I'm trying to pin down the date of a watch with a Ronda 726 quartz movement. Does anyone here know the year the Ronda 726 quartz movement was introduced? Thanks in advance.

I think nobody here will be able to help you on that. Ronda has a multilingual website, the link to the English version is inserted below. They should be able to help you. Just look for the contact-link in the upper right corner and repeat your question. Let us know what answer you got.

Whatever Ronda-eqipped watch you have, it is a movement from one of the most sympathetic team of makers, located in the Canton Basel-Landschaft. Of course, we would like to see pictures. It might not be vintage, but the movement is not on their list anymore.

I think it's from the late 80's but there is very little information about them.

@Border-Reiver and @Shum: Thanks for the feedback. Ronda has technical documentation for the movement available on its website RONDA AG – normtech – Caliber 762 and the earliest page in that documentation is dated July 1988, but the documentation is obviously updated on a regular basis, so the original pages may have been replaced long ago. But at least I can push the earliest date back to 1988. I'll post more information if I can find it.

To be honest I have only seen watches going back to the early 90's with this movement so I don't think they were that common. They make a nice complement to the ETA dominance.
