    Re: Would you buy this?

There was a recent thread with a similar question. The consensus was basically that the only reason people sell this stuff is because they are either too far gone, or they are trying to sell off the stuff they purchased in a similar lot years ago and never got around to working on them...

    Re: Would you buy this?

The question of "would I have bought it" depends largely on what the price was. For parts lots, I usually factor as a multiple of the quantity; a lot like that I'd be happy with $2/watch and wouldn't go over $5/watch.

If the price was right I would totally go for it regardless of cjhecking them or not so yes I would bid.

The price was right, 60 dollars or $3 per watch. I even got lucky and 12 worked right out of the box.

Nice catch in my opinion. A few obscure brands but some well known and respected ones as well. BTW...The Bulova on the left is named the Banker they made it in that style from c. 1926 to 1931. It is a very popular model of the period. By appearances the case, dial and original hands are all good. It should clean up nice.

Here is an ad clip for that watch from 1930
