    Zenith in-house quartz cal. 47.0

    Hi,

What do You think about this?
I have found Zenith Futur in Rossler's Zenith book with a cal 47.1 which rates 1sec per year accuracy.

This one is 47.0 (older version?). What rating does this has?

    That's the only info I have found :) https://forums.watchuseek.com/f27/mor...ml#post1461464

Both calibres are as old as each other. They constitute the only in house Zenith quartz movements. The 47.0 apparently has a movement holder ring (attached to the movement), the other one doesn't. At least according to Rössler. However, I rather suspect that the Cal. 47.0 has a bottom centre LED display for the date whereas the Cal. 47.1 has it in the bottom right corner. This leads to the model "Amerique" Which looks like this:

ZENITH FUTUR TIME COMMAND ANA-DIGI QUARTZ LED 1975

looked up in the book again
47.0 description: with gearbox, battery type 386, quick date setting
47.1 description: without gearbox, battery type 386, quick date setting

    What's a gearbox?

    I haven't got the foggiest!

Probably a translation error. The German version (in my possession) talks about a "Werkhaltering" (lit.: movement holding ring). Still, to me it seems a little silly to attach the movement holder ring directly to the movement (why not just make the base plate bigger?!) - and even sillier to distinguish between movement codes on the basis of that factor alone.

    It incame
That must be my best condition vintage for today :O
Almost NOS condition. One ding on bezel and two scratches on crystal
    Zenith bracelet.

The only inhouse Zenith Quartz movement

Minute hand ticks by one minute. For example it's 14:28:01 and when it reaches 14:29:00 it ticks one whole minute at a time.
Red led shows month day with upper pusher and seconds with bottom one. Also there are two dots on the LED to indicate AM or PM
The thing can be turned off. So You can sync it with atomic for example. So I did sync.
This baby should rate 1sec/per accuracy. Will see how it goes

Does this watch have separate modules for each function or is it combined as a whole?

Really nice watch but it behaves in a similar way as my Junghans Mega Aluminium.
