Bought this non-working old Zenith Victorious and spent yesterday evening restoring it
The watch had the stem broken at the crown, so needed a new stem and a crown.
Because the seller couldn't wind it it was sold as not working, luckily the movement was just fine :)
Great watches, superb build quality! The steel is so hard that it's almost impossible to polish
I like this watch a lot, it's clean and simple, typical for the time period but quite a timeless design. A bit similar to the Omega Geneve I guess..
Had to find a new stem, was lucky to get one for $9 on ebay :) Also don't worry about the crown, looking for an original Zenith one and this is just a temporary solution, thats also why the stem is too long for the crown, not sure how much space the original will require so just making sure it has enough
