That is one wide clock. What is it like to wear?

    Looks very good!

Thanks Mauri! She's a BIG one! The case is 50mm across without the crown.

Looks like she is in very good shape. Can you tell more about the clock, how you got her and when was she made etc.

Don't know much about her just that it uses an ETA 2873 and from it's funky looks I believe it's from the 70's Here's a few more shots of her for you guys...

The case back is marked on the outer edge "Swiss Made, Automatic, Incabloc, Full Steel, Super Water Resistant, 709-1, Brevet + 17531/68 + 18350/68". On the outer edge of the Jenny logo is marked "Brevet + 5292/68, 7093589"...

This is what the Triple Safe is all about...

This is the first gasket you see. It's on the case under the crystal retainer ring. This seals the retainer ring to the case...

The second gasket is under the crystal retainer ring which sits on top of the crystal lip...

The third gasket is under the crystal lip. It sits between the case and crystal. You can also see the first gasket that seals the crystal retainer ring to the case. I totally forgot to take pics or even notice how the the crown is sealed. I'll have to go in there again one day and shoot some pics...

Here's some pics of the massive crystal...

This schematic drawing I did might help you understand the Triple Safe system a little better...

WOW great post. Love the pictures and especially the break down of how the case is pieced together. Thank you so much for taking the time to share that with us. :gold
