    Bonaire Diving ---- Day 1

Got out for our first couple dives this morning. We got a little of a late start due to the fact of my wife trying out her new 7mm Farmer John Wetsuit. It took her an extra 8 pounds to be able to submerge. I am the lucky guy to be able to lug all of her stuff to and from the water on the shore diving. Why didn't I go boat diving?

Anyways, here are the pics from this morning. We went on 2 dives this morning and got to see some pretty good stuff already. We plan to go on a night dive tonight, so hopefully I will post some more tonight..............

    A nice-sized spotted eel.

One of my favorites........A queen Angel

    Midnight Parrot

    Small Barracuda

We saw a GREAT spotted Eagle Ray, but this was the best pic that I could get

The wife in her new 7mm wetsuit. It is only 81 F

Sorry, but she washed me out a bit. Pretty good shot of the patch and Mil Shark though.........

    Best Regards,
    Jason

Very nice photos, thanks for sharing!

What is your camera setup for this trip? (As usual, it's not just the equipment but also the operator, but I'm taking notes on what the experienced underwater photographers have chosen to use. )

The pics look great and I'm feeling better already.

Are you still borrowing Scottie's camera?

Tell you mother-in law the patch looks great too.

The plan was to borrow only his housing. I have a camera that is JUST like his only a newer model. Problem was, my lens was slightly bigger than his housing permitted. Last second decision to borrow the whole rig. HE IS SO NICE

Great pics Jason - only one to give me a shiver was the 'cuda one as I lost a nice chunk of my knee to a large 'cuda back in the 90's while sailing off Barbados. We reckon I dived in right in front of it. Lucky for me it was on its own. First time I've come out the water onto the boat without using the ladder. Didn't put too much of a damper on the day as my friends chucked me in the dingy and one of them ran me ashore to get stitched up while the rest carried on enjoying themselves. Even my wife.
Still only time I've been touched in 30 yrs on the water.
    Have a great time.

I guess so, especially since you never seem to let him go diving.
