    Chronomat 44 or navitime

I keep going between the two. the Chronomat is sort of the tip of the spear for Brietling but the Navitimer is so well known.

These are 2 very different watches. I’d try them on and compare them next to each other in person and then make the decision. Don’t go crazy over thinking it until that happens.

Yes, two very different styles of watches. IMO, no wrong choice here, just comes down to your own preference.

The Chronomat 44 is much more rugged and water resistant than the Navitimer. And well it should be considering its brick-on-a-wrist affect. So consider the primary environment you will be subjecting your watch to and go from there.

Like said before try them on... Can't tell you how many watches I was excited about or considering until I tried them on and hated them. Or worse yet bought them and sold at a loss a month later.... Navitimer "is" Breitling...

    Re: Chronomat 44 or navitime

I have just become the owner of a Navitimer BO1 and I absolutely love it.

I have owned and flipped many Breitlings over the years, but I know for sure that the Navitimer is going nowhere.

It is simply stunning in every way, and an absolute icon of the brand.

I was always a bit worried about the legibility due to the thin hands and busy dial compared to my ultra legible Speedy, but it's fine and (especially) in natural light
it blows me away every time I look at it.

I wish I had realised that this was the watch I really wanted years ago.

I don't really need a chronograph function, but if I did, I think having to unscrew the pushers on the Chronomat would be a bit of a pain.

As others have said, they are both great but totally different watches, so choose the one that suits you and your lifestyle.

    Good luck

Sorry about this photo but I do not have one of just the Chronomat 44 and my Nav. As stated above, two very different watches. I had the two Chronomat cased watches and wore the blue face/blace subdial Blackbird over the 44 so I moved the 44. I don't think you can go wrong either way but it all depends on how you intend to use the watch. To me I wanted both so I have the Nav and the Blackbird but that is your decision to make.
    Hope this helps, Frank.

well as stated try them on first

but if I were making the choice for me, despite both being great I'd choose the Navi

Obviously tough to compare the two but I’ve always been a big chronomat fan.
