Exclamation Finally here! What an incredible wrist instrument!

Arguably the most complete "tool" watch ever made. Now I understand why you B-1 owners always wax eloquently about this technical marvel. I love it! :-D
    Cheers,

    Ron,
You got it! I have to commend you on your find taste in watches. I didn't know it was coming this soon. Is that the new bracelet or the old one? I've really come to love mine. I was just slightly skeptical at first, but now I love it!! Enjoy the watch and we're all looking forward to more pics!

    Congratulations Ron,

Ah, if you have the occasional bout of perfectionism, like I do, you may wish to align the markings on dial with the markings on the bezel. At first, I found that hard to do, because the 12 o´clock marker on top is then misaligned.

But if you keep turning the bezel, they will all evenually align thanks to the gearing mechanism. It may take you 40 complete turns or more, but eventually you'll get there.

Thankfully, I figured it out before I took the B1 back to the dealer and made a fool out of myself.

Hi, John. It's the old one. The watch is a 2005 model with ALL box/papers and warranty. I was skeptical about the fighter bracelet also but now I love it too! If Breitling does release a "II" version of the fighter or adapt the Pro II to the B-1 I will go ahead and get it with a UTC module. Terribly redundant but so what? A heck of a beautiful combination IMHO.

Hi, SnapIt. Thanks for the comments! You're right. It is HOT! That red background is a bread basket sitting on Mom's table behind the watch. I think that first pic came out pretty nice all things considered!

Hi, Kurt. Thank you. Yes, I was already blissfully (?) aware of the differential ratio on the pinion drive. When I first picked it up I started to spin the bezel to try to find the sync point but gave up after going each direction about ten times. I've heard 33, 37 and 40 to 1 ratios but I'm too lazy to validate. LOL. The functionality of the digital displays is amazing. After digesting (burp...) the manual and playing with most of them, I am indeed impressed. I chose the black dial because I like the digital displays "off" unless I'm using them and the windows blend so nicely into the black dial that way. It's also fun to show the watch with the digitals off before spinning them "on" with the crown. Very impressive to observers and certainly to me!

Thanks again, all. I'm wearing it "well" as I type! :-D Cheers,
    Ron

I think it is 35 to 1 ratio... but who is counting really? B-)

Congratulations Ron!!! It is truly an amazing piece. B-1 is the first Breitling that I owned... while I bought and sold many Breitlings over the years, I still have that B-1... my very first one... and I still love it...

    Wear it in good health...

    Hi Ron,

Well, what a beaut.. Welcome to the B-1, it'll certainly "B" (LOL) in good company in your watch stable.

BTW, super pictures of your mom. (and yourself, good to put a face to a name). She is obviously enthralled with her "new blue"

As we say here, in this part of Scotland, " Pure Gallus".

    Kind regards

    Hi Ron,

Beautiful watch and fantastic photo! I have an identical B-1 now for 3 months and I never get sick of it. Stunning watch and does everything you could ever want. Also it is still accurate to within a second since I bought it. Agree with your comments on the black face and leaving the displays off when you don't need them.

Attached a few more black faced B1 photos (previously posted but lost when the server went down)
