I hope someone can help me in some way or maybe one of the forum members knows everything about this watch
I bought this piece last week and having seen it only twice before (once on antiquorum and once with a complete set of papers on chrono 24) i knew it was a rare piece.
But as i am trying to find info on it on the web it comes up empty.
I think I know it is made in 199x (from NOS parts ?) as an hommage to the 40ies and 50ies breitling watches the case , clasp and case back have (breitling) hallmarks , movement is signed 'breitling' back of the watch has breitling hallmarks , and the 'Breitling Serie Limitee' '175' and '074' and I assume that this is #74 of a 175 pieces limited edition
But now i find myself searching for more detailed info.
One of our more 'prominent' forum members *waving to Ron* could not find
a reference in his 2000 copy of Richter's and in an earlier post SnapIt identified the movement for me , as a venus 175 .
here are some pics for identification, any comments are welcomed
