Was recently bitten by the watch bug (a serious infection) and have an assortment of Rolex, Omega and one Vacherin. Decided to try a Breitling as I was always a bit curious but never sure if it would work for me. Somehow gaudy came to mind. Now that I have a like new D13048 Chronomat in hand I am in love. It's a real beauty. It's like making a point without really overdoing it. Won't be my last Breitling either... Really like the Superocean with gold bezel but aren't they all like 17mm thick? Sounds like waaaaay too chunky for non-diving use or am I wrong?
Welcome to the club - just joined myself and agree that Breitlings have a different feel from your average Omega or Rolex. The chunky ones wear smaller than I would have expected.
